A little about me.... I am a self taught photographer. I grew up in a little town in North Georgia called Flintstone, close to Chattanooga, TN. I met my husband in 2003 and we married in 2004. I graduated from Kennesaw State with a Bachelors in Secondary Education. I taught for three years until we moved to Americus, Ga in 2012, where we now live and raise our three boys.
My Granny always had a camera in her hand and passed that love for photography to me. With the encouragement of my husband, I decided in 2016 that I would start my own photography business. For years I asked the Lord to reveal to me my purpose. I knew I wanted to be a mother to my boys and that passion is strong, but I felt that I had a calling for something else too. I am so thankful and blessed for all He has done and so grateful to my family for their love and support so that I may do what I love.
I really do love all things photography, but I so enjoy working with high school and college seniors. It's something about their excitement and what lies ahead. They come to a shoot willing to create art. I have had seniors walk long distances to locations, get into unknowing waters, sit upon horses when they have never done so before or dress in costume. I feel as I have the most freedom with their images, and they don't mind one bit.
This is a time in their lives when they are actually becoming adults, a time on their own. Their decisions now make a way for their future. They are hopeful and thrilled to start a new journey.
